Bryce Mountain Bike Park Opening Summer 2013

Today Bryce Resort is announcing the newest addition to its mountain adventure activities – a lift-access mountain bike park.

Bryce has partnered with Whistler, BC based Gravity Logic to design and built the park. Gravity Logic is considered to be one of the premiere designers and builders of bike parks.

Rob Schwartz, general manager of Bryce Resort and biking enthusiast said, “Adding a mountain bike park to our current activities at Bryce will be a game changer for us and the biking public because there is not a similar riding opportunity in the area.”  Schwartz continued, “Bryce Resort has always been committed to providing the best possible learning and adventure experience to our customer base whether skiing, snowboarding, ziplining or golfing and that will continue with the Bryce Mountain Bike Park.”

Bryce Resort and its mountain staff will develop a mountain bike park that is not only fun, but challenging as well. The objective is to attract individuals and families to the Resort, provide quality instruction for first-timers, as well as generate “buzz” among experienced mountain bikers.  Orientation programs with rentals, lessons, and an introduction to park riding will be available.

The Resort has partnered with Trek – a giant in mountain biking communities – to provide the bikes. Bryce will have a full line of high performance full suspension mountain bikes to enjoy the park with.

“Bryce Resort has embarked on a fantastic opportunity to be known as THE DESTINATION for day trippers and weekend visitors by developing the park”, said Schwartz. “We have always made it a point to stay ahead of the competition by being proactive and strategic in the development of Resort activities while continuing to enhance our core activities with new endeavors.”

Construction of the Park will begin at the conclusion of the Resort ski season with a scheduled opening in June.
