Bryce Resort celebrates its 10th Anniversary BryceFest this year with EZGO and a spectacular fireworks display on Friday, July 3rd. The music will begin at 7:00 pm on the back deck adjacent to the ski slopes with fireworks starting between 9:15 - 9:30 pm. Bring your blanket and lawn chair, enjoy the music, and then a spectacular fireworks show.

On Saturday, July 4th, join us for the Tenth Annual Arts & Crafts Fair from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. The Vintage Car Show returns bigger and better than ever, and children's games and fun activities go on throughout the day including a castle bounce and dunk tank. Local entertainment for your listening pleasure. Great food will be available all day long. Check back here later to see the latest schedule and additions.

This Winchester based group specializes in the best mix of 1970's music. Robbie recently starred in the Wayside Theater production, "An Evening with Buddy Holly." The band plays popular music like no other band in the Northern Virginia area. And play it they have –everywhere from the stage at The Wayside Theater, three years at the Bluemont Fair, intimate wedding receptions, several Virginia wineries, and in club/restaurant rotations throughout Northern Virginia. Rides of Your Life


Airplane Rides

10:00 am - Dusk
Located at the Bryce Basye Airport. What a wonderful way to experience the thrill of seeing the festival and the Bryce Valley from a bird's eye view. The airplane offers excellent visibility and has seating available for up to 2 people. Provided by Steve Showalter of Fly the Valley, LLC



Zip Line Adventure Tour

Bryce Resort's newest activity. This ride consists of eight zip line platform stations connected by over 3,000 feet of cable traversing down the ski slopes and through the woods. With speeds of up to 40 miles per hour, riders will experience the thrill of flying through the trees and sailing across the open ski slopes, as high as 65 feet above the ground, as they work their way from the top to the bottom of the mountain.

Exciting Mountain Tubing

11:00 am to 8:00 pm
Offering two hour sessions for $10. The Italian-made system offers waterless tubing on special gliding mats that create the same sensation of snow tubing but without the snow! And, because it is waterless, there's no need to worry about changing clothes before or after. Just come as you are!


Fire Truck Rides provided courtesy of the Orkney Springs/Basye Fire & Rescue Company. What child (or one who is a child at heart) isn't fascinated with the siren and activity produced by a passing firetruck. Stop by for a ride and show your appreciation to our local heroes who provide protection for our community.

Climbing Wall and Bungee Ride



11:00 am to 8 pm

Offering an hour and a half for $15

Consider the possibility of climbing four stories to ring the bell atop Bryce Resort's new Climbing Wall. You do not have to be a human daredevil like Alain Robert, just possess strong arms and a determination to reach the top. Also try a bouncing bungee ride.

The 3rd Annual Vintage and Antique Car Show (Cars in the Valley!) is a fun-filled, no-cost wash & shine event. 1st and 2nd Place Ribbons in Four Display Categories (American and European … Pre and Post 1973) and Peoples’ Choice Trophy! Located within short walking distance to the Lodge front lawn, this display is sure to please all the automobile enthusiasts of the Shenandoah Valley and beyond. AOPA Pilot Information

During BryceFest on Saturday, July 4th, if you plan to fly to VG-18, Sky Bryce Airport, volunteers will be monitoring 122.8 and assisting incoming and outgoing pilots and planes.

Prizes will be awarded to the best classic, best experimental, best light sport, and best overall aircraft that fly into Sky Bryce during BryceFest.

Please be advised the airport closes at dusk and seeing the fireworks requires remaining overnight. Overnight accommodations can be arranged by visiting the Bryce Resort lodging webpage at Bryce Resort Lodging.
