At Bryce Resort, we specialize in teaching beginners and we are the closest Virginia resort to DC, so escape the city and learn to ski or snowboard this year!  This three-part package is available for first-time skiers and snowboarders ages eight years and older.  (Younger children should enroll in the Kinder School or Mini-Rider programs.)   The package includes equipment rental, a 1 1/4 hour group lesson, and a carpet lift/slope use ticket.  First Time Ski & Snowboard packages are restricted to the beginner area; however, after three hours of skiing/riding, the ticket may be upgraded to a chair lift ticket. Weekday upgrade $10, weekend & holiday upgrade $15. The lift ticket is good until the lifts close. At this time, this package is not available for on line pre-registration.

First Time Ski/Snowboard Package Rates

Sign up for First-Time Ski/Snowboard packages in the ski rental area.  1 1/4 hour group instruction classes meet on the slope in front of the Ski School office.  Signs are posted in the snow designating appropriate meeting places for First Time Skiers or First Time Snowboarders.  For more information email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
