Ski & Snowboard Instruction
Bryce is one of the few ski resorts in the Mid-Atlantic Region which has true beginner terrain. Combine our accomodating beginner area with our nationally accredited Horst Locher Ski School and you have Virginia's Premier Learn to Ski and Snowboard Resort! Voted Most Family Friendly Resort again in 2010, we are hands down the best place to learn a new snowsport. Two carpet lifts were added in 2010, and a newly created space has been specifically reserved for our Children's Snowsport Learning Center. Separate training areas are now available for very young children and older beginners.
If you are only visiting for a day, sign up for one of our First Time Ski/Snowboard Packages. If you are vacationing at Bryce for a more extended period, let one of our Ski School representatives tailor a multi-day Ski or Snowboard Instruction Program to fit your specific needs. Our highly qualified instructors will have you skiing or boarding proficiently in only a few days. We have group and private instruction programs to accomodate all our guests' needs - children, adults, first timers, or seasoned skiers/riders looking to fine tune their technique.

Pre-Registered Group Rates
A pre-registered group of 20 or more can receive special rates on lift tickets, rentals, and on First Time Ski/Snowboard packages! Group rates are available Saturday-Friday, excluding holiday periods. Group leader must have written conformation and make full payment by cash, check, or credit card (American Express, Dicover, Mastercard, or Visa) for the group on the day of arrival.

First Time Ski and Snowboard Package Group Rates
This three part package is available for groups of 20 or more first-time skiers and snowboarders. It includes ski or snowboard rental equipment, a 1 1/4 hour group lesson, and a carpet lift/slope use ticket which is restricted to the beginner area. The carpet lift/slope use ticket may be upgraded to a chair lift ticket after three hours of skiing or snowboarding. The minimum age for this package is nine years. Group leader must make full payment by cash, check or credit card (American Express, Discover, Master Card or Visa) for the group on the day of arrival. Tubing
Tubing (one hour and fifty minutes) $17 Tuesday-Friday, 6pm-7:50pm. Children must be 4 1/2 years old and at least 42" tall. The weekend group rate for tubing is $20. Tubing sessions are on Saturdays at 3:00pm, 5:00pm, and 7:00pm and on Sundays at 1:00pm and 3:00pm. Group rates are available during holiday periods.
